Term Time Holidays
We discourage children having any time off during the year as it is vital they have no missed learning. If you are planning on taking a holiday during school time, please fill in this form below, which can be collected from the office, before you take your child out. Return the form and we will inform you whether it is authorised or not and also whether you may receive a fine for taking your child out of school. A period of 5 school days or more results in a fine unless it is "exceptional circumstances."
Term-Time Absence Requests
Parents and carers are reminded that holidays and other absences during term time should be avoided wherever possible, as regular attendance is essential to children’s learning and progress. If you need to request permission for your child to be absent from school during term time, please complete Bradford Council’s Term-Time Child/Children Absence Request Form. Requests will be considered by the school in line with current attendance guidance, and leave of absence can only be authorised in exceptional circumstances. Please submit your request as early as possible before the proposed absence.
